RARE ornithological print from ‘On the Birds collected by Prof. J.B. Steere in the Philippine Archipelago’, pl. 46 by Richard Bowdler Sharpe after J.G. Keulemans; Fig. 1 is a rather rare forest species, shy & wary. There are many other races in the Phils., Malaysia, Indochina & India. Fig. 2 is another subspecies found in Basilan.
