EXTREMELY RARE and stunningly attractive view of a Zamboanga scene, from the famous French exploration narrative of the ‘Voyage au Pôle Sud et dans L’Océanie …l’Astrolabe…Zélée…:Atlas Pittoresque’, pl. 144; published by Gide et Cie., Paris 1841-55. These early lithographs on Mindanao belong to the largest and most beautiful available for the first half of the 19th Century.
