This postcard depicts a bustling Escolta Street in Manila, Philippines, during the early 1900s. Known as the “Queen of Manila’s Streets,” it was a premier shopping and business district lined with grand buildings. Prominent businesses visible in the scene included Moral Dry Goods, El Barato store, and the La Flor de la Isabela cigar shop.
