Heinrich Scherer, S.J. (1628-1704) was a Jesuit cartographer, geographer, and academic who taught Hebrew, ethics, and mathematics at the University of Dillingen in Germany until about 1680, when he was appointed tutor to the royal princess of Mantua and Bavaria in Munich.
