RARE map from “Geographicae enarrationis libri octo…”, published in Vienna by Gaspar Trechsel; a collector’s item which shows curiously the “Manilae Insule” in a strange Western location described in Latin as a source of marble and mirrors the edition with the header “Tabula XI Asie”. First edition: Fries 1522, first edition Trechsel 1535.
