Map from Miguel Seguí’s renowed Enciclopedia Ilustrada Seguí, by Centro Editorial Artistico in Barcelona. From 1897 to 1907, Centro Editorial Artistico published the art and literary magazine Album Salon…, the first Spanish magazine illustrated in colour, and from 1909, the Enciclopedia Ilustrada Segui.

This plate shows the strategic peninsula enclosing Manila Bay, marking coastal settlements from Balanga to Mariveles alongside the interior mountainous terrain. It illustrates the regional transport links and administrative boundaries as recorded in Seguí’s early 20th century surveys.
