View from the Italian edition of Scherzer’s Novara – Reise der Oesterreichinschen Fregatte Novara um die Erde in den Jahren 1857-59 [Circumnavigation of the Austrian Fregate Novara in the Years …].
The original artist is Josef Selleny, who sketched the scene on-site in June 1858 while visiting the hot springs during the Novara’s stopover in Manila, being the official landscape artist on board the voyage.
