green cloth, lacking map, pp.1009, XVI, 2 pages with the coat of arms of Manila and Spain at the end.
EXTREMELY RARE.

Although published in 1892 this work was undertaken by Delgado in Guiguan in 1751 and finished June 6, 1754. The author borrowed heavily from San Antonio’s Cronicas but added a lot of his own. These seems to be a copy of the original manuscript in the Jesuit archives in Manila. Delgado was born in Cadiz ca. 1690 and went to the Philippines in 1711. Volume 1 of the “Historia de Filipinas”.
